FAQ
General
Where did the Klaro name come from?
We were inspired by the Spanish word ‘Claro’ – clear, distinct, understandable, evident.
In our vision, outstanding coffee should not be something complicated and inaccessible, rather the opposite – we aim to make it easy, approachable and widespread.

What do the icons stand for?
It’s a sort of experiment. We have assumed that each icon identifies a certain group of flavours (we tried to make the shape resemble those flavours). These icons will appear on our packaging, and time will tell if they work out.
Either way, they came out quite nice, didn’t they?
How often do you roast coffee?
We are kind of nomads. All of our coffees are sourced and profiled by us, but we roast at our “bigger” partner facility so they have things to drop into the roaster : )
To avoid overusing hospitality we roast goodies for you once a week. Of course, we would love to have our own place and roasting machine, but we stick to a step-by-step strategy – because patience is half the battle!
Coffee-related
How long does the roasted coffee stay fresh?
And this is a great question! There are two ways to answer:
Short – 2 years;
Long – According to our tests, the coffee reaches its peak flavour 1-2 weeks after the roasting date, after a month it slowly starts to lose its flavour. A pronounced change in flavour occurs +- 3 months after the roast date.
But! If you’re already here, you don’t have to worry about that. We roast our goodies regularly and nothing gets dusty on our shelfs.
What is the best way to store coffee?
We recommend storing your coffee in the original packaging – it was specifically designed for this purpose. Avoid drastic temperature changes and sunlight, which cause your coffee to lose its flavour faster.
We recommend buying smaller packs if you don’t drink a lot. (But sooner or later you will, believe us).
P.S. You bought some extremely good beans and want to leave them for later? A good idea would be to freeze them! It is essential to split the beans into portions, vacuum-pack them and put them in the freezer. At extremely low temperatures, coffee tends to age up to 70 times slower.
Is filter-roasted coffee suitable for espresso?
Can summer tyres be used for winter driving?
Yes, but at your own risk 🙂
We love daddy’s jokes, but this question needs to be answered seriously: of course it is possible to brew a light roast coffee in espresso, but be prepared for higher acidity, a lighter body and spending a bit more time dialling in.
We keep our fingers crossed! It’s worth a try!
What water should be used for brewing?
Filtered!
Start with a basic jug filter. Even this relatively inexpensive solution will bring the taste of your home-brewed coffee to another level.
Not sure that a filter will make a difference and/or don’t want to invest in additional gadgets? Buy a bottle of “Primavera” or “Żywiecki Kryształ” (or other water with the lowest possible mineralisation) and taste the difference.
P.S. If you find limescale collecting in your kettle – don’t hesitate, invest in a filter.
Orders
What do I do if my parcel is delayed?
Ah, those parcel services… Everyone likes to complain on them….
Sometimes they are faced with a drastic increase in parcels sent (especially during the Christmas period), causing delivery dates to be exceeded.
As the therapists say: “Accept the fact that some things are beyond our control”.
Your long-awaited package was not delivered? Let us know! Send us an email info@klarocoffee.com with your name and order number. Together we will find a solution.
What do i do if I received an incorrect order?

Of course, we publish info about the new releases on our social media profiles, however we recommend subscribing to our newsletter.
We promise there will be no spam and no eternal “buy-buy-buy”. We inform – you take the final decision.
